I find doing self promotional writing very difficult. It just seems odd to write about myself and what I am doing. I guess it is just a part of my personality. I am a network engineer by trade. But, I have spent the last year learning how to make a living online.  I have been mildly successful with Internet Marketing and other strategies for making money online.

I believe with the right skills and the right attitude anyone can attain any goal they want. For me that goal is financial freedom. Once you are financially self sufficient you can drop the 9 to 5 job, and leave the corporate BS behind you. Besides, 9 to 5 jobs just don’t seem natural.
 
I look at 9 to 5 jobs this way. If you spend 8 hours a day sleeping; if you are lucky, and a minimum of 8 to 10 hours a day for work, there really is not much time left for life, family or fun.  And shouldn’t we all have a little freedom in our lives before we are too old or burned out to enjoy it.

I believe that Internet Marketing will be the engine that will drive me forward to future financial freedom. I make no bones about telling you that I am here to create content that will generate income. By the same token, I know that HubPages is a community and should be respected as such. My plan is to be here for a long time. And as such, I plan on creating unique compelling content that satisfies both community and search engine needs.
